A Lead Sherpa alternative — buying the replies instead of sending the texts
This is the closest comparison to what we actually do internally, because texting property owners is exactly how our leads are made.
What an SMS platform does
Lead Sherpa belongs to the category of texting platforms built for real estate: import a list, send at scale, manage the replies, and stay inside carrier rules while doing it.
Running your own campaign is the cheapest path per reply if you get it right, and it gives you complete control over the message, the timing and the follow-up.
Its pricing and feature set are its own to publish, and we are not restating them.
What running it yourself involves
The part nobody mentions in the demo is carrier registration, sender reputation and compliance. A texting operation needs registered numbers, and a number that gets flagged carries that damage into every future campaign.
It is also a real operational job: numbers per market, replies arriving at all hours, opt-outs honoured across every list forever, and a constant tension between volume and deliverability.
We carry all of that. You buy the output — a seller who replied — at $5, with the thread attached.
Every lead is sold once, to one buyer, and comes off the board when it is claimed. There is no tier where the same seller goes out to five people.
Which one you actually want
If you intend to run outbound as a core function, build it. The unit economics beat buying replies once the machine works, and you own the channel.
If you want deals rather than a marketing operation, buying the replies skips a build that takes months to get right and has a compliance tail if you get it wrong.
Be honest about which business you are choosing. Both are legitimate; the second one just is not usually what someone means when they say they want more leads.
Lead Sherpa is a product of its own company and is not affiliated with Freedom Leads. We deliberately do not publish its pricing or feature list here — those change, and a stale figure on this page would be worse than none. Check its own site for anything specific.
Questions people ask
Are your leads TCPA compliant?
We run the outreach under our own compliance programme, on registered numbers, against litigator-scrubbed lists. Once you have a lead, your contact with that seller is yours — he/she has replied to us, which is a conversation you are joining rather than a consent you inherit.
Can I see the whole conversation?
Yes, before you buy. That is the main thing on the lead card, and it is how you judge a lead without paying for it first.
Why not just sell me the list you text?
Those are public records you can buy anywhere, and selling you one would be selling you the easy half. The part worth paying for is the reply.
Other comparisons
Every lead on Freedom Leads is a seller who already replied to a text. $5 each, sold once, to one buyer.
